Diana K. Gonzalez is the Director of Graduate Student Success at The Grainger College of Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Illinois.
Diana’s work supports various aspects of the graduate student experience. She leads recruitment efforts, including the MERGE campus visit program, which helps students from diverse backgrounds explore Grainger Engineering’s graduate programs. She also directs the Grainger Engineering Graduate Student Diversity Ambassadors program, focusing on leadership development, peer mentorship, and community-building events for engineering graduate students. Additionally, Diana oversees the Mavis Future Faculty Fellows program, which prepares students for careers in academia.
With over 12 years of experience in academic affairs and graduate education, Diana collaborates with academic departments, graduate student leaders, and campus partners to enhance student success, mentorship, and inclusivity.
