For this meeting, the book club will be discussing, “The Snow Child” by Eowyn Ivey.
The book club's goal is to meet with others who love books and build community at the UIC Health Sciences Campus-Rockford. Book choices will be based on member suggestions, which will include a mix of fiction and non-fiction, with specific titles to be decided by book club attendees. Typically, meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m.
UIC faculty and staff have full access to the library’s interlibrary loan service and can request a book that way. We will try to pick books that have reasonable wait times if someone needs to get it from the library.
