"Troubleshooting the Difficult Vaginal Hysterectomy," to be presented by Rosanne Kho, MD, Professor of OB/GYN and Reproductive Biology, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine; Head of Sectional Medical Gynecology and MIGS, and Director of the MIGS Fellowship Program, Cleveland Clinic, will focus on the existing challenges of the traditional vaginal hysterectomy and provide the attendee with alternative techniques and approaches to overcome these challenges.
Learning goals and objectives include:
-Define the challenges of vaginal hysterectomy,
-Describe different techniques and technologies to overcome these challenges, and
-Describe various techniques to remove the tubes and/or ovaries at the time of the vaginal hysterectomy.
