Elijah Wald is a musician, Grammy Award-winner, and author of books including How The Beatles Destroyed Rock ānā Roll: An Alternative History of Popular Music and Escaping the Delta: Robert Johnson and the Invention of the Blues.
Wald will visit the University of Illinois to discuss his new book Jelly Roll Blues: Censored Songs and Hidden Histories (Hachette, 2024).
