Christopher Kempf is the author, most recently, of the poetry collection What Though the Field Be Lost (LSU, 2021) and the scholarly book Craft Class: The Writ- ing Workshop in American Culture (Johns Hopkins,2022). Heisatworkonabook of literary nonfiction, Local Color.
