Gabriela Garcia is the Creative Writing Program's first post-doctoral research associate. Garcia is the author of the critically acclaimed novel, “Of Women and Salt” and has had her fiction and poetry appear in The Iowa Review, Tin House, Best American Poetry, and elsewhere. She holds a BA in sociology from Fordham University and an MFA in fiction from Purdue University.
