Many students are told that perfectionism is a good thing and necessary for success. However, studies actually show that perfectionistic attitudes can actually interfere with success. The desire to be perfect can both rob you of a sense of personal satisfaction and cause you to fail to achieve as much as people with more realistic expectations. This 3-part series helps students realize when pefectionism is more harmful than good and develop more realistic expectations.
