Are you program leader in a community organization or nonprofit looking to better understand what’s working in your program, how to show your program’s successes, and how to improve the effectiveness of your program?
The Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is hosting a hands-on workshop designed to introduce community-based organizations to program evaluation on Nov. 13, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., at the Martens Center in Champaign. In this workshop, led by Professor Jenna Riis, you will:
- Learn how to build simple logic models to clarify your program’s goals and outcomes.
- Apply the principles of continuous quality improvement to improve program effectiveness in real time.
- Review data collection, measurement, and reporting strategies to help you quantify and evaluate your program’s impact.
No prior evaluation experience is needed. You'll leave with practical tools to help you take the next steps of program evaluation in your own organization.
Light refreshments will be served. Please register by Nov. 10 to ensure we can fully accommodate all participants.
