Two of our alumni who have been active in the field of translation and interpreting will share their experience and knowledge with our TIS community on Friday, Feb. 23, 4-5:30 pm CST

One of the presentations will be delivered by Koeun Lee (MA 2023, Literary translation), and her title is "AI translation in the real world: How a global organization uses AI in translation and interpretation". Koeun will present her work as an in-house translator/interpreter for a global organization and how they interact with AI in translation and interpretation.

The other presentation is from Manar Kodamah (MA 2019, Interpreting). Her presentation entitled "Understand, Get Ready, and Dive" will help you better understand the challenges and expectations and preparation steps you need to talk about before and during any assignment.
