Come and listen to a bilingual story in Mandarin and English!

Bring your children to East Asian Bilingual Storytime and enjoy a storybook telling of “Kon and Pon” by Masako Matsuno. This friendship story tells of Kon, a fox, and Pon, a raccoon dog, who live on different sides of a mountain river. Their families have never gotten along, but Kon and Pon’s friendship changes everything.
---
A small fox and raccoon-dog (tanuki) meet. However, their families forbid them from becoming friends. How will they act? Are they going to overcome this obstacle? This warm-hearted story of friendship shows us how a raccoon-dog and a fox make friends with each other despite of their differences. This story is split into two parts. Please enjoy part 1 of this showcase of friendship.
