The AAS Film Expo was established as an Association for Asian Studies conference program in 2011 by the Asian Educational Media Service (AEMS) of the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies as part of an outreach initiative promoting documentary and independent films on issues reflecting contemporary life in Asia. The upcoming AAS Annual Conference is scheduled March 24-27, 2022 in Honolulu, Hawai’i & online.

 

AAS 2022 FILM EXPO is being presented in-person only at the Hawaii Convention Center, Theatre 320, Level 3.AAS 2022 FILM EXPO features 18 films with 17 post screening Q&A’s
