On Thursday, March 24, the first panel, Housing and Racial Justice, will be held. The three panelists include: Mariana Scott, who is a Home Ownership Advisor working with the Neighborhood Development Alliance non-profit, which provides counseling, workshops, and courses to first-time homeowners in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Jamal Russell Black, who works in analytics and impacts at the San Diego Regional Policy & Innovation Center, which investigates challenges to the local community and proposes policies/programs/interventions to solve them and attract capital. Dr. Roshanak Mehdipanah, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior & Health Education at the University of Michigan School of Public Health with research interests "in the field of built environment, urban design, urban health, public policy, health equity and community development" in both the US and, previously, Barcelona.
