Originating Calendar: European Union Center Events; This fall, the European Union Center launched a new interdisciplinary reading group aimed at interrogating issues of race and the Mediterranean. Texts feature predominantly primary sources, with a mixture of contemporary materials relevant to today's debate. The group is open to faculty, students, and community members interested in exploring the history of race and racism in the Mediterranean and meets every other week to discuss each selected text.
