The first installment of the Research and Language Learning Series for Fall 2023 will be on Tuesday, October 24, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Central Time through Zoom. This series was developed by the Slavic Reference Service in Fall 2021. This online discussion series is jointly hosted with the Language Workshop at Indiana University, American Councils, the Melikian Center at Arizona State University, and the Russian, East European, and Eurasian Center at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

We are inviting established scholars to discuss the role language proficiency plays in research, with examples from their own scholarly work. We welcome language learners of all academic backgrounds to participate in these discussions.
