Theoretical Tools for Quantum Sensor Optimization and Entanglement Quantification
Abstract: In this talk, I will provide a high-level overview of some of the work completed during my PhD. In particular, I will discuss methods of estimating the quantum Fisher information, a fundamental quantity in quantum metrology. I will then define and discuss the estimation of the Concentratable Entanglement, a multipartite entanglement measure with several desirable properties. I will conclude with the mention of some open problems regarding the sample complexity of learning quantum properties with or without quantum memory and/or adaptivity.
