MAXQDA is a popular tool for qualitative data analysis. In this workshop, we’ll discuss MAXQDA’s features and capabilities so you can decide how you might use it to answer your own qualitative research questions. If you’d like to try out MAXQDA during the workshop, you can also get a trial version from the company. Please note, however, that the version I’ll be using to demonstrate the software is not the most recent version available. The features, however, are generally named the same, and you should still be able to follow along. Learning Outcomes By the end of the workshop, we expect you'll be able to: Upload text and media data to MAXQDA Create codes in MAXQDA and apply them to text and media files Retrieve and review coded data using MAXQDA analysis features. This workshop will be offered in a hybrid format. You may attend in-person in Library 314 or via Zoom. The registration form asks you to indicate which format you plan to attend, but you may choose whatever format works best for you on the date of the workshop. The workshop will not be recorded, but you can find a previous recording of this workshop on the Qualitative Data Analysis guide.
