The tutorial is designed to provide hands-on experience on how to program and solve combinatorial optimization problems on quantum computers. Participants will learn the basics of how to program IBM quantum computers with Qiskit framework and the basics of QAOA theory. The training will be provided by Abraham Asfaw, who is the leader of quantum education at IBM and by Ruslan Shaydulin, who will soon join Argonne as a Maria Goeppert Mayer fellow.
There is no fee to attend the workshop. The workshop will be conducted virtually using BlueJeans. Yuri Alexeev from Argonne's Computational Science Division is hosting this event. Please note below the tight registration deadlines.
