QazTalk is Back!

We are excited to welcome you to a new season of QazTalk! This year brings fresh topics and new scholars of Kazakh language and culture, each sharing subjects they are passionate about. 

Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning, every session promises a fun and engaging way to explore a Kazakh language and culture.

• No prior experience in Kazakh language is required!
• Engage in fun activities, basic conversational practice, and learn about the fascinating cultural traditions of Kazakhstan in a supportive and friendly environment.

Weekly Plan

October 8	Greetings and Introduction	Practice common greetings, introduce yourself, and exchange simple introductory questions.
October 15	Language and Culture	Explore traditions and customs, practice day-to-day phrases.
October 22	Music	Listen to traditional and modern songs, build related vocabulary, and share your favorite genres with us.
October 29	Cuisine	Learn vocabulary for food and cooking, explore traditional Kazakh dishes, and practice useful phrases for dining out.
November 5	History and Traditions	Discuss important holidays and customs, and how they connect to everyday life.
November 12	Modern Kazakhstan	Learn vocabulary for modern society and education, compare with your experiences.
