Celebrate the longest day of the year with the soothing sounds of Viktor Krauss and a cruise through Allerton Park! WILL Radio TV Online and Allerton Park and Retreat Center are teaming up to bring you the first performance in this year’s modified Allerton Park Concert Series, presented by the U of I Community Credit Union.

Tune in to WILL-FM 90.9 from 7-9pm on June 20 to hear Jazz bassist Krauss’ specially recorded show for fans of Allerton and WILL. Cruise through the Park in your vehicle, or stream on your device as you wander Allerton, your local Park, or your own neighborhood. If you’re heading to Allerton, we’ll be sharing a map from the Monticello Chamber with businesses you can safely swing by to support!

Despite not being able to gather together at Allerton, our goal of bringing music and nature together to create a lifelong memory remains the same. We are scheduling more musical experiences for you to safely enjoy throughout the summer – stay tuned! (If you are interested in collaborating, please email Ashley at anowen2@illinois.edu)

Please join us in thanking our generous sponsors for supporting this community endeavor: U of I Community Credit Union, Kirby Medical Center, The Ayers Family, The Herbold Family Trust

About the Artist:
Viktor Krauss was born in Champaign, IL, in 1969. In high school, Krauss explored the worlds of rock, soul, and R&B and began to write material that shared these new influences, eventually leading to the study of bass, voice, composition/theory with an emphasis in electronic and tape music at the @University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Touring has taken Krauss around the world. Some venues and television appearances include Carneige Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brian, and the Ryman Auditorium. In 1994 he began his extended tenure with respected singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett, touring and recording with the eclectic folk/country icon.
