"Achieving Equity: Disparities in Cancer" brings together research, healthcare, and broader communities for an action-oriented dialogue on the unequal racial and ethnic burdens of colorectal and prostate cancer. Hosted by IHSI in partnership with the Cancer Center at Illinois and the College of Applied Health Sciences, the half-day event includes keynotes by Dr. Karriem Watson (UIC) and Dr. Charles Rogers (University of Utah), highlights of current research at Illinois, a prevention and survivorship panel, and a networking lunch to discuss future directions. We welcome diverse participation from campus and the larger community with a focus on creating positive changes in human health and wellbeing.
