Abstract:
Quantum Position Verification (QPV) is a growing field that uses quantum phenomena to verify an untrusted prover's location by timing communication with them. Most of the work in this field has thus far been theoretical, and now researchers are beginning to run proof-of-concept experiments to test QPV protocols. This talk will cover the basics of how QPV works, some example protocols, and measures our lab is taking to implement them.
