Dear MRSEC participants,
We will hold an All-Hands Meeting for the Illinois MRSEC on Wednesday, October 1, 3–4 pm, in room 190 ESB. The purpose of this meeting is to inform you about the current status of the MRSEC, what is new, and what can you expect in the near future. Topics will include among others: feedback from 2nd year review, research updates, outreach opportunities, and upcoming deadline for submission of seed proposals (October 15).
Furthermore, we would also like to hear from you both during the meeting as well as before the meeting. We will be happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have as well as collect new ideas for distribution and discussion with the whole center. Possible topics could be:
- Desired equipment to move your research forward
- How do we build more outside collaborations
- Suggestions for new outreach activities
- Ideas for social events to foster the MRSEC community
- Anything else that is on your mind
