Taissa Bergeman Gonzalez is currently Chief of Staff and Interim Laboratory Operations Manager at Prenosis, Inc., a Chicago-based healthcare technology company where she works alongside an executive team building software and medical device solutions to disrupt the acute care space and improve patient outcomes.
Taissa is a results-driven and human-centered leader with a strong passion for people and transforming businesses through experience and process improvement. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Enterprise Systems Engineering (then titled General Engineering) and a concentration in Business Systems Integration and Consulting.
Taissa began her career as a Software Business Analyst at a technology consulting firm called Acquity Group, which was acquired by Accenture, where she aided in the delivery of ecommerce software solutions by defining business and technical requirements for an implementation, liaising with client stakeholders, and working with software development teams to ensure that features and products were being built to spec. She then spent some time as a Business Analyst within the department of Business Information Systems at the University of Illinois working on various technical implementation and improvement projects, and also was a volunteer program leader for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers national board.
Having now been with Prenosis for over 3 years, Taissa has helped oversee the growth of the company from 11 employees to 35 and counting. Taissa grew up overseas before moving state-side to Naperville for high school, speaks multiple languages, and is a mom of 2 school-aged kids.
