Join us for our Summer Professional Development Workshops on Tuesdays from 12-1PM. This workshop will cover ways to improve your financial fitness, including factors that impact your credit score. Led by Susan Toalson McGinty, Chief Development Officer for the University of Illinois Community Credit Union (UICCU).

Susan Toalson McGinty is passionate about financial well-being for all and excited to bring financial wellness to the workplace throughout Central Illinois. She also leads UICCU banking partnership with the University of Illinois' Alumni Association and Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.
She has a passion for the credit union industry because it is the best banking choice for consumers and has worked on behalf of credit unions for over a decade. McGinty most recently was the Vice President of Creating Awareness for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). In that role, she led the national business-to-business effort designed to drive consideration toward credit unions. She has traveled across the US working with hundreds of credit unions, sharing consumer research, leadership, and transformation.
Prior to her experience in the credit union industry, Susan was an executive director for a business association, a teacher and served in the United States Navy Reserves. She earned her Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation from the National Credit Union Foundation in 2018 and her Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) from the Credit Union National Association in 2021. She holds a BS in Organizational Leadership from Greenville College.
