Monica Bravo will speak by Zoom on February 25 at 5:30 PM CST. The talk is open to the public, and should be of interest to everyone in Art and Design. She will be speaking about a chapter, entitled “Native Land and a Usable Past: Paul Strand in Concert,” from her forthcoming book, from Yale UP, about how the relationships between four U.S. photographers and Mexican artists forged new developments in modernism.
While Professor Bravo will introduce her chapter, attendees are encouraged to read the chapter before the meeting, as we will devote most of the time to an open discussion of the chapter. The chapter is available here: https://uofi.box.com/s/pk10ocj6g8vi9xkry4cnopi5jde4ync9
