This session will be a targeted, quick start for relative beginners in programming or researchers with limited experience in machine learning. We will cover tools such as using GitHub as a code repository, Juypter Notebooks for programming in Python, and Microsoft Copilot as an accessible coding and visualization assistant. Hands-on demos will focus on importing and visualizing the ICN time-series data using the most well-known Python libraries, and then move into basic machine learning examples using the data. Participants will come away with the ability to engage with Python and an understanding of how to use AI tools to enhance their programming and ML knowledge.
