- NPRE holds Mandatory Pre-registration Advising Oct 13 – Oct 31. To schedule an advising appointment go to my.npre.illinois.edu. First-year students meet with the department advisor. Continuing students have a faculty advisor assigned. For all students, the department advisor is an advising source outside of the faculty advisor.
