Abstract: The unconventional superconducting nature of Sr2RuO4 is still an area of active debate, and even though an odd parity SC order parameter has been ruled out, people have been shifting attention from the originally thought chiral spin-triplet p-wave pairing (through a d-vector approach) to more exotic mixed/multi-component order parameters such as d_xz + d_yz, d + ig among others based on thermal, magnetic and strain measurements that keep the relevant symmetries of the lattice in mind. We revisit the theorized spin-triplet p-wave pairing in the material through a phase-sensitive Josephson coupling route via way of regular perturbation theory and put forth a model that seems to, for the most part, work in favor of p-wave spin-triplet pairing. We then draw parallels with the ABM state (A-phase in He-3) and attempt to understand Pauli limiting effects on the thermodynamic signatures (mostly T_c and free energy comparisons) for our proposed bilayer model in the presence of high magnetic fields, if time permits.

P.S: Some knowledge of/prior exposure to BCS theory would be super helpful but I will do my best to give a working primer at the beginning!
