Ferry Roelofs is account manager research at NRG PALLAS in the Netherlands and as such deeply involved in the research program of the lab.
With his background in nuclear thermal hydraulics, Ferry will provide an overview of the thermal hydraulics activities at NRG PALLAS with special emphasis on multi-scale and multi-physics numerical code developments since this is a topic of collaboration with UIUC. In addition, the new NRG PALLAS medical isotope and research reactor which is under construction in the Netherlands will be discussed.
