Dr. Tristesse Burton is presenting for the Division of Academic Internal Medicine & Geriatrics (AIM) and the Vitoux Program on Aging & Prevention, Department of Medicine’s “Research in Practice” seminar talks:

 

"A Bench to Community Perspective: Addressing Women’s Health Issues in Underrepresented Minority Populations"

 

Description: This talk will discuss 1) lessons learned from a community-engaged mixed-methods approach to address a women’s health issue with American Indian women 2) the application of this approach in developing a behavioral intervention with African American women.
