Light the Night 2024 - Free Bike Lights Giveaway event at three campus locations:
Volunteer for this event: Sign up hereThe Bike Month Planning Team is organizing the 17th annual Light the Night, a bike light giveaway event on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4-7 pm at three locations:
1. Alma Mater Plaza,
2. Hallene Gateway (intersection of Illinois and Lincoln), and
3. Ikenberry Commons QuadOver the past several years, we have installed over 800-1,000 bike light sets every year in the Urbana-Champaign area.
In the event of heavy rain, Light the Night will be postponed to Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 4-7 pm. Volunteers will be notified by email.
