Are you interested in data management? Want to learn more about helping researchers manage data throughout its lifecycle, from collection to sharing? Curious about how your own academic experience might lead to careers supporting research?
The best way to learn more about a career is to get experience in it, but internships are not always an option for everyone. That’s why the Graduate College Career Development Office has partnered with the Research Data Service to design a one-day experience to give interested graduate students an opportunity to try out the work done at Illinois’ Research Data Service.
The day will include meetings with collaborators; informational interviews with core staff; a guided, hands-on project; and free lunch! No previous experience is required or anticipated.
