Graduate College Career Development Events

Curious about faculty careers at liberal arts colleges and other teaching-focused institutions? Want to learn what departments at those institutions look for when hiring faculty?

Join us for a conversation with Illinois alum Allen Schwab. Schwab is currently a faculty member in the graduate American Culture Studies Program at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, he served as Professor of English and the Academic Dean/Vice President of Eureka College and Logan University, and on the faculties of Northwest Missouri State University (where he chaired the English Department), Lindenwood College, Colgate and Northwestern Universities.

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Schwab, his career, and his insights about faculty life at liberal arts colleges.

Free coffee and snacks provided. Registration is required.
