The Career Exploration Group provides a collaborative environment for graduate students and postdocs who want to learn more about their career options.
Participants will work with a career advisor through a guided process of discovery to help them identify and evaluate career paths that fit their skills, interests, and values. The group is a unique opportunity to share and learn about exploring careers through discussion and open dialogue with peers.
**Please note that this is not a job search group.** We will not be workshopping application documents or discussing in detail the process of searching for a job. Students ready to apply to jobs may benefit more from scheduling an individual advising appointment at grad.illinois.edu/careers/advising
Participants commit to meeting once a week for 3 weeks. Meetings will be held through Zoom, and a link will be sent to those that register prior to the first meeting. Registration is required.
