As GHG removal technologies move toward larger-scale demonstration and deployment, questions of governance and oversight become increasingly urgent. This webinar will examine the current consensus on guardrails and governance frameworks for GHG removal, including efforts to refine and evolve these systems. Speakers will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of existing governance models, draw lessons from climate intervention governance experiences, and explore how these insights intersect with permitting reform and siting considerations for energy infrastructure.
