Celebrate the exhibition opening of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR): Red Regalia Project, created with Chicago-based Native artist Angel Starr (Omaha, Odawa, Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota) to call attention to violence against Indigenous Peoples. Program begins at 6 pm, featuring Director of Native American House, Dr. Charlotte E. Davidson (Diné/Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation); Director of Krannert Art Museum, Jon L. Seydl; Executive Associate Director of the School of Art & Design, Melissa Pokorny; and Native North American Artist-in-Residence, and Angel Starr (Omaha, Odawa, Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota).
