Celebrate the exhibition opening of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR): Red Regalia Project, created with Chicago-based Native artist Angel Starr (Omaha, Odawa, Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota) to call attention to violence against Indigenous Peoples. Part of the 2024–2025 Native North American Art Residency. The exhibition will be on view through April 11. Reception in Link Gallery.

Program begins at 6 pm, featuring Director of Native American House, Dr. Charlotte E. Davidson (Diné/Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation); Director of Krannert Art Museum, Jon L. Seydl; Executive Associate Director of the School of Art & Design, Melissa Pokorny; and Native North American Artist-in-Residence, and Angel Starr (Omaha, Odawa, Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota). 

Presented in partnership with Allerton Park & Retreat Center, American Indian Studies, Krannert Art Museum, Native American House, School of Art & Design, Office for Arts Integration, and Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with additional support provided by the Illinois Arts Council.
