This event showcases student research conducted at NCSA, and features oral presentations, a poster session, a Human Centered Design workshop, and the opportunity to network with faculty affiliates and industry sponsors through our industry panel!

Design for America will be leading a workshop on Co-designing with Communities: Human Centered Design in Social Impact Tech.
Join us for an interactive design sprint where you'll explore how Human-Centered Design (HCD) can inform and drive impactful tech solutions for a wide variety of engineering applications. Through real-world case studies, hands-on activities, and rapid prototyping, you'll collaborate to tackle social issues using participatory design methods. No prior experience in design is needed—just bring your curiosity and problem-solving mindset! This workshop will be held from 3:30-5:00 PM.
