In this pre-talk for this afternoon's Combinatorics Colloquium, I will provide background on super algebras as related to my research with Nick Ovenhouse and Sylvester Zhang, including a discussion of super friezes, with combinatorial and geometric aspects of the supergroup Osp(1|2) highlighted.
