Come listen to a bilingual story in Japanese and English!

This month's theme is featuring the story, When the Sakura Bloom

In Japan, spring is one of the most iconic seasons. Why? Cherry Blossoms, of course! When the Sakura Bloom sheds light on the cultural importance of cherry blossoms and how the people of Japan see cherry blossoms. This is a story about change and how change is important in our lives.

Co-sponsored by the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Illinois and The Urbana Free Library. You can attend in-person or by watching a live stream of the program on Zoom. Register in advance to receive a link to watch the program online.
