In this talk, Kevin Wise, professor of advertising, will share ongoing studies exploring psychological responses to new media interfaces such as artificial newscasters and advertising decision engines. He will also present some emerging ideas about the study of media use and time perception, which aims to inform our understanding of how different features of new media platforms may shape our experience of time.
