Catherine McEathron joins us from Liberty Mutual Insurance based out of their Plano, TX campus, where she is currently a Regional Manager for Oklahoma, Arkansas, and North Texas. Catherine graduated from UIUC with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a specialization in Finance and Accounting. Catherine’s career with Liberty started where she completed an internship in the Risk Control Services Department – Commercial Lines in 2014. During that summer, she began her Associate Risk Management (ARM) designation and worked alongside Risk Control Field Consultants.
After graduation in 2015, Catherine started full time in the Risk Management Development Program, eventually transitioning into a field consultant role later that year. Catherine spent 5.5 years as a field consultant based out of Chicago, IL focusing on servicing commercial clients in Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, and Distribution and completing risk assessment for our Underwriting Market Partners. She provided consulting expertise in ergonomics and property related hazards to reduce the risk of employee/customer injury and building exposures. This included completing fire sprinkler design analysis based on the operations and contents within a building; assessing current state physical job demands with the intent to redesign operations to fit the employee; and increase efficiencies within production/distribution through the use of a PIT/PED assessment. While in Chicago, she was able to achieve the following designations: Associate Risk Management (ARM), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
In 2021, Catherine was promoted to Region Manager based out of Plano, TX. She is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of 8 field consultants. Their focus for this year as Premier Risk Advisors include growing our customer base in Middle Market and Majors, providing expertise to our Construction, Energy, Manufacturing, and Distribution clients, and supporting consultants in their professional development / career path progression.
