Resist the temptation to chase grant money. Stay true to your organization’s mission and goals by developing a plan for how you would like to use grant funds before you apply for them. Thinking through the what, who, why, how many, how much, when, and to what extent of each program takes time. But the time you spend now will position you to submit competitive grant proposals as the opportunities arise. Workshop participants will discuss the components of effective program planning and be inspired to take the first steps toward proactive grant seeking.
