Join us for COMPASS, a faculty development program designed to strengthen assessment and evaluation practices across undergraduate and graduate medical education. Hosted at the JUMP Simulation Center (Everitt Lab), this session will focus on practical strategies for applying competency-based medical education principles in clinical and educational settings.
During this program, participants will explore:
Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) principles
Outcome-focused assessment methods
Implementation of Milestones and Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs)
Practical application of assessment tools in teaching environments
Development of effective assessment systems
Skills enhancement for UME and GME faculty
Strategies for meaningful learner evaluation and feedback
This interactive session is designed for faculty involved in teaching, supervising, or assessing learners and will emphasize practical approaches that can be applied immediately in clinical, classroom, and simulation-based environments.
