The college will be enhancing its focus on activities that continue to drive equitable outcomes for our students. Our focus for this upcoming presentation will be on the Legal Requirements for Students with Disabilities in Medical Education.
As you begin the review of the curriculum materials for your lectures, discipline, courses, and clerkships, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development was asked to offer training and materials to support accessibility and equitable environments to accommodate students with disabilities.
This session has been specifically designed for all faculty by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development. The session is an integral part of our commitment to support students throughout the interactive process within diverse learning environments. The Legal Requirements for Students with Disabilities in Medical Education session will be conducted with Tina Cowsert, from Disability Resources and Education Services.
