What an amazing session held on February 19, 2024, with the Deans of the Colleges of Education, CI Med, and Grainger Engineering kicking off the session, sharing their vision for “Collaboration through Innovation,” followed by our guest speakers sharing their collaboration projects, how they found colleagues from other colleges to partner with, outcomes of the project, and next steps.

Even if you were unable to attend our first session, you can still attend our next opportunity to meet and collaborate!

Our next session is March 6, 2024, from 3-5 PM at CI ME (MSB 274).  This session will be for lightning talks by YOU! Share ideas, promote synergies, and to develop research collaborations.

Here's a quick look at what you can expect on March 6:

  1. Dean Cohen: Collaborative research, education, and funding
  2. Lightning Round
  3. Panel discussion - Q&A from the audience
  4. Opportunity to meet and mingle with other attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity to maximize opportunities for engagement and networking to form new collaborations across the campus!

Registration requested, to allow us to plan for enough food for all.

To register, visit: https://illinois.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e3S8ItivQhVa0Qu  - please indicate when you register if you will give a 3-minute talk on your interests, ideas, a proposed topic, or current project you would like to collaborate with colleagues across the campus and community.

The final session will be: April 8, 2024, from 11 AM- 1 PM at College of Education (O’Leary Center, Room 10)

Kind regards,

Deb Young, Michelle Perry, Jenny Amos, Gloriana González, and Lydia Elliott
