The NIH Grant Writing Series, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, is designed to prepare early-career faculty at Illinois to submit their first R01 or other individual investigator proposal to the National Institutes of Health.
The six-week webinar series will consist of seminar and discussion sessions led by faculty who have demonstrated a history of success with NIH proposals and will address various aspects of the grant submission process. Registrants may attend one, some, or all sessions.
This session will focus on developing the research strategy, including tips for writing the narrative and addressing rigor and transparency. This session will also start to discuss some of the sections outside the research plan, such as the abstract and project narrative.
