Colleagues, please join the CGEA Basic Science Education SIG* for a presentation and discussion on the topic of, "Institutional models for basic sciences education across four US mid-west medical schools”. Our four presenters will each briefly share their home institution’s curricular structure for basic sciences education, along with some notable strengths in the approaches used. The remainder of the session (~ 30 mins) will allow for open discussion among the audience on the theme of identifying and adopting evidence-based practices for basic sciences education for medical students.
We will meet via Zoom on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at Noon central, 1PM eastern time at the following Zoom Meeting Link. While this is a CGEA SIG event, all are welcome to attend! A repository of prior and current meeting materials can be found here.
*Our special interest group (SIG) promotes discussion, engagement and knowledge-sharing on topics of relevance to basic science education in the health professions. We engage with CGEA members and those in the broader community to foster a community of support and development for those teaching basic sciences.
Sincerely,
Your basic sciences SIG co-conveners
