Please join us for a three-part speaker series, Achieving Equity: Disparities in Substance Use, hosted by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI) Health Equity core. These events will discuss equity issues and funding opportunities related to substance use and addiction, including barriers to care, service utilization, and risk and resilience in underrepresented populations. Held via Zoom from 10:30 a.m. to noon, registrants may attend one, two, or all three events in the series.

MARCH 21: Research from a Minority Serving Institution Perspective
Panelists will discuss how N.C. A&T researchers are addressing health disparities and creating a campus NIDA team and research proposal, and their campuswide approach to substance use and mental health treatment.
