The NIH Grant Writing Series, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, is designed to prepare junior faculty (years 2+) to submit an R01 or other individual investigator proposal to the NIH.
Each week will consist of seminar and discussion sessions led by faculty who have demonstrated a history of success with NIH proposals and will address various aspects of the grant submission process. Registrants may attend one, some, or all sessions.
This session will cover the remaining sections outside of the research plan, such as the abstract, human subjects, care and use of animals, data sharing plan, subawards, letters of support, facilities and resources, and the budget and budget justification.
