The NIH Grant Writing Series, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, is designed to prepare junior faculty (years 2+) to submit an R01 or other individual investigator proposal to the NIH.
Each week will consist of seminar and discussion sessions led by faculty who have demonstrated a history of success with NIH proposals and will address various aspects of the grant submission process. Registrants may attend one, some, or all sessions.
This session will focus on developing the research strategy, including tips for writing the narrative and addressing rigor and transparency. This session will also start to dicuss some of the sections outside the research plan, such as biosketches.
